Iti is a word from the Sanskrit language meaning ‘the end’, the ‘ultimate’.

Following is an experiment with my feelings towards it.
 — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

It’s an outburst of emotion,

several loud screams blast through the walls,

and the loud laughs and smiles ring across.

i feel the warmth around,

the breath of life is strong

there is flavor in the air

people around…

i may not know the people

Who cry at my first sight.

It’s the day I was born.

i live with people i didn’t chose

but grew to care and live for…

and O yes, love happens to us all…

But eventually it is all coming to an end.

The hard reality sinks in.

It is… Iti.

And there it comes. It takes a hold of me.

But where’s the pain of losing? Why can’t i feel it all ending?

Then I realize what it truly is…

It’s Iti.
